Anniversary

Today is the fourth anniversary of my marriage to David, and one day shy of the fifth anniversary of our acquaintance. And a very nice five years it's been. Not every single day of it has been easy, but the vast majority of the days have been good. I remain satisfied with my choice. Yeah. When I think of how much I love David I get a little silly in the head.

We ate sushi at our favorite restaurant and drank Bishonen. I think we do this every anniversary, because that's what we did at Decibel in New York when we decided to get married.

Bishonen-the-cat came home from the vet this morning, and very happy he was to be sprung. He had quite a bit to say to me. He climbed into my lap for a few moments of patting, then extreme hunger took over. I am to deduce that he ate nothing while at the vet's, because he was frantic enough to paw at me for food. He no longer has enormous fluffy testicles. Poor thing. Now the only way he'll reproduce is if we clone him. The vet sent me a condolence card about Tab Hunter, too. David informed them of his death, and they ditched his file. Poor Buska. That seems so final. I am sniffly with sympathy for my two cats. Well, one cat and an ex-cat.

We brought home a fried shrimp head for Bishie, actually, remembering how much Kitsune (that other ex-cat) had loved them. Bishie got very excited and ate one leg, then lost interest. Not hungry enough?
